In the US, the number of COVID cases has increased significantly over the past day

A record 184.5 thousand new episodes of COVID-19 infection were registered per day in the United States, more than 1.4 thousand citizens became victims of the infection, according to Johns Hopkins University, which summarizes data from Federal and local authorities, as well as the media and other open sources.
