In Las Vegas at the CES 2019 exhibition, a presentation of the Opte gadget was held, which independently recognizes pigment spots on the skin, moles or freckles and paints them with a special marker.
As stated in the company’s annotation, the Opte device is equipped with blue LEDs that illuminate the skin, revealing three times more melanin than the human eye is able to perceive. Digital camera of the gadget makes 200 pictures of the skin in a second. In total, up to 24 thousand images are produced. Then the microprocessor analyzes the data obtained, and a special tonal serum is applied to the places requiring correction with the help of an “inkjet printer”: 120 printing thin needles are responsible for this.
Manufacturers note that this application allows not only to more effectively hide skin imperfections, but also reduces the use of tonal means by 99 percent compared to manual application. At the heart of the serum are used moisturizers, which, according to the creators of the gadget, will help over time to get rid of age spots.
Information about when the new product will go on sale, as well as the price of the gadget and the serum used in it no yet.
