In the US, more than 67 thousand cases of COVID-19 were detected per day

The number of detected cases of coronavirus infection in the United States over the past day has increased by 67 thousand, almost 2 thousand people have died, according to data from Johns Hopkins University, which summarizes data from federal and local authorities, as well as the media and other open sources.

According to the university, over the past 24 hours in the United States, doctors recorded 67,164 new infection cases and 1,903 deaths.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in the United States for all time reached 28,827,140, 520,356 patients with diagnosed COVID-19 died.
