In the US, more than 61.6 thousand new cases of coronavirus were detected per day

More than 61,600 new cases of COVID-19 infection were detected per day in the United States, and 1,244 people with COVID-19 died, according to Johns Hopkins University, which summarizes data from Federal and local authorities, as well as media and other open sources.

According to the University, 61,660 cases of infection have been recorded in the country over the past 24 hours.

According to the latest data from Johns Hopkins University, 4,352,083 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in the United States, and more than 149,000 people have died. More than 1.3 million infected people have recovered.

Worldwide, according to the University, more than 16.7 million infected people, and more than 660 thousand deaths were registered. The number of people who recovered exceeded 9.7 million.
