In the US, more than 60 thousand cases of coronavirus were detected per day

According to Johns Hopkins University, more than 60 thousand new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded over the past day in the United States, which summarizes data from Federal and local authorities, as well as the media and other open sources.

According to the University, over the past 24 hours, doctors in the United States have identified 60,315 new infection cases and another 933 deaths.

A day earlier, these figures were 58,387 and 445, respectively.

According to the university’s latest data, more than 8.2 million people have been infected with the coronavirus in the United States since the beginning of the epidemic, and 221,083 patients with COVID-19 have died. More than 3.2 million patients recovered.

Worldwide, according to the University, more than 40.8 million cases of infection and 1.1 million deaths were recorded due to COVID-19, and more than 27.9 million people recovered.
