The FBI in the United States is investigating the alleged hacking of the accounts of major companies and celebrities on Twitter, Reuters reported on Thursday.

According to the latest data from Bloomberg, hackers managed to collect at least 110 thousand dollars.

Recall that some large companies and celebrities posted messages on Twitter about the distribution of bitcoins. Similar words appeared in the accounts of Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. The reports of former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, rap artist Kanye West, former US President Barack Obama, and former US Vice President Joseph Biden were also hacked. Also, Apple and Uber accounts were hacked.
