In the US, a seven-year-old boy is recovering after a shark attack

A trip to the beach in Homestead Bayfront Park, located near Miami, ended in injuries for the seven-year-old child, but he went on the mend.

The boy’s mother, Ethel, says that when her son went into the water, he was attacked by a predator. She bit the child in three places. Judging from the marks left, Ethel thinks it was a bull shark.

“All we saw was blood pouring,” the woman said.

She wasn’t going to talk about the incident but decided to warn other parents who bring their children to the Park. “I just don’t want anyone to have a false sense of security,” she said.

Ethel believes that no one is to blame for this accident and reminds parents just to keep a close eye on their children when they are in the water.

“If it was just a baby, it could have been a lot worse,” she said.

Captain Stan Saffan, who specializes in fishing, also believes that a bull shark may have inflicted the bite. According to him, whenever you get into the water on such coasts, you are on their territory. “And you always need to keep an eye on what’s going on around you,” he warns.
