In the US a robot for snow removal was created

The developers of the new robot claim that their brainchild perfectly clean the streets and is completely safe for humans.

How it works? First, the user must go and record on camera the entire future route of the robot. Then transfer the recording to the robotic operating center (ROC). He gives the robot specific program route. Various sensors, such as accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer, help him to navigate correctly. If they and the six cameras detect any obstacles on the way, the robot will automatically stop and then notify the center which will send instructions to bypass the obstacle.

Snow removal is carried out using a rotating cleaner. Salt and de-icer allocated for the program is located on the rear of the tank. Users can track the process of work in real time through the mobile application.
