In the United States, vandals desecrated the monument to Christopher Columbus

In Providence (Rhode Island) unknown desecrated the monument to Christopher Columbus. Free News reports.

“The statue in Providence was splattered from head to toe with red paint, and a sign leaning against the pedestal read:” Stop celebrating genocide.” On the back of it, “genocide” was written in orange paint, the report said.

Earlier, a vandal damaged a bronze statue of “Attacking bull” on Wall Street in New York. The man struck the statue with a metal object, damaging the bull’s horn.

In April 2018, in the US state of Virginia, vandals desecrated a statue of the third US President Thomas Jefferson, writing “racist” and “rapist” on the monument.

In 2017, vandals also doused the Columbus monument with red paint and left offensive inscriptions on it.
