In the United States, the leader of the civil rights movement John Lewis died

The politician and Congressman were 80 years old, the Free News reports.

In December last year, Lewis was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the previous stage. At the same time, he promised that he would continue to represent his district in Congress. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called him on Twitter one of the greatest heroes in American history. John Lewis was one of the organizers of the March on Washington, which was held in 1963 by the fighter for the rights of African Americans, Martin Luther King.
