In the United States, the first verdict was passed in the case of the storming of the Capitol

A court in the United States handed down the first sentence in the case of the storming of the Capitol; a 49-year-old woman received three years of probation, the Huffington Post newspaper reports.

It is reported that Anna Morgan-Lloyd from the state of Indiana was sentenced to three years of probation, during this period she is prohibited from owning a weapon; she must also spend 120 hours on community service and pay a fine of $ 500.

“I would just like to apologize to the court, the American people, and my family. I was there to peacefully express support for President (Donald) Trump, and I am ashamed that this (demonstration) turned into a manifestation of violence. I would never have been there if I had known that everything would turn out this way,” she said during the sentencing.

It is noted that Morgan-Lloyd pleaded guilty to one count of charges in connection with the invasion of the Capitol building.
