In Kabul, electricity was cut off due to the fighting

The Afghan electric power company LABS reported a power outage in Kabul and several other areas due to damage to power lines due to fighting in Baghlan province.

“The electricity supplied in Kabul and several areas on the path of power lines were cut off. Today, the power transmission line in the Kiligai district of Baghlan province was damaged due to fighting, as a result of which electricity was cut off in Kabul and some other areas in the path of the supplied electricity lines,” DABS said in a statement on Facebook.

The electric power company notes that it is working on troubleshooting and restoring the power supply.
