In Germany, support the investigation of the origin of COVID-19

At the G7 summit, the issue of investigating the origin of the coronavirus was raised, and the German government supports this initiative in principle, Deputy official representative of the German Cabinet of Ministers Martina Fitz said at a briefing in Berlin.

“This was generally discussed at the G7 summit – that the causes of the pandemic should, of course, be investigated. This is in the interest of the community of States in terms of avoiding future pandemics. Thus, the federal government supports this in principle,” Fitz said.

This year, the “Big Seven” is chaired by the United Kingdom. The G7 leaders ‘ summit was held in Cornwall.
