In Florida, a World War II plane landed near the beach

In the US state of Florida, a rare TBM Avenger plane urgently landed on the water a few meters from the swimmers.

The footage shows how the aircraft flies directly over the heads of vacationers and lands near them. According to CNN, only the pilot was on board, and the plane itself belongs to the museum Valiant Air Command, Inc.

“The good news is that the pilot is fine. Not very good news: the restoration of the Avenger may take several years,” the museum said.

The cause of the incident was an engine failure. The pilot first tried to fly to the nearest airfield but then changed his mind and decided to sit on the water. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.
