In Denver, thousands of flights were canceled due to the storm

The capital of the US state of Colorado, Denver, was covered with the strongest snowfall; the authorities canceled about two thousand flights.

Denver Airport is the fifth-largest international airport in the United States. Because of the snowstorm, almost two thousand flights had to be canceled. Bad weather has also affected the road situation – drivers leave cars, including SUVs, right on the tracks because they cannot pass.

In Wyoming and Colorado, record amounts of rain have fallen in recent days, and snowdrifts have grown to 70 centimeters in some places. Forecasters predict that the snowstorm will remain in the United States until at least mid-week and will have time to affect Kansas and Mississippi states, after which it will head to the east coast.
