In China, a man with a knife attacked a kindergarten: two children were killed, 16 people were injured

Two children were killed, and a man injured 16 others in an attack with a knife on a kindergarten in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China. This was reported on Wednesday by the Xinhua news agency, citing local authorities.

Earlier, the information portal Pengpai reported about 18 victims, including 16 children and 2 caregivers.

According to Xinhua, two children were killed due to serious injuries, 14 victims received medical care, and two more people are in operating rooms.

The incident occurred at approximately 14.00 local time in one of the private kindergartens of the city of Beiliu. The police arrested the attacker.
