In California because of forest fires introduced a state of emergency

California Governor Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency due to wildfires that continue to engulf the state. The BBC reported with reference to the official website of the Governor.

Newsom stressed that authorities are using all available means to fight the fires, and urged California residents who received an evacuation notice to heed the call. About 180 thousand people in the North of the state received the evacuation order.

Tens of thousands of homes are at risk of being destroyed by fires. Millions of people in 36 counties were left without power as a result of planned outages. This was done to avoid fires due to damage to the wiring. At the moment, such a massive blackout is recognized as the largest in the history of the state.
