In California, a shooting was reported at a Marine Corps base

An armed criminal allegedly opened fire at a Marine Corps base in California.

“We are aware of reports of a shooter at the marine corps air-ground combat center Twentynine Palms (in California). Details will follow,” the US Marine Corps said on Twitter.
Later, another message appeared there.

“The military police responded to reports of shots fired at about 06.30 and cordoned off the area. At this time, we cannot confirm that the suspect is in custody,” the command said.

According to open sources, the Twentynine Palms base is the most extensive Marine Corps base in the United States, with about 10,000 personnel.
