In Arizona, two people were killed in a plane crash

Two people were killed when a plane crashed in the US state of Arizona, local police said.

The plane crashed near the town of Winslow in Navajo County on Friday.

“Upon arrival (services on the scene), the plane was engulfed in flames; it was extinguished by Winslow firefighters. To date, it is known that two people have died from fatal injuries,” the statement posted on the Navajo Sheriff’s Office Facebook page said.

The National Transportation Safety Board and the US Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the incident.
