Allan Lichtman, a professor at the American University in Washington, shared the forecast for the US presidential election in November, CNN reports.
The channel recalls that Likhtman had previously predicted the coming to power of five previous US leaders. To make a forecast, the professor uses his own system “13 keys”.
It consists of focusing on the personal charisma of candidates, their previous managerial experience, and also takes into account such factors as views on economic development, scandals around the research object, and the general social situation in the country.
“The secret is to keep an eye on the big picture. And ignore polls, analytics, the daily ups and downs in rankings”.
According to Lichtman, Trump will leave the presidency in the fall, and his place in the White House will be taken by the likely Democratic candidate in the upcoming elections, Joe Biden.
The US presidential election will be held on November 3. Donald Trump is running for a second Republican term. Joe Biden is seen as the main opponent of the incumbent Democratic president.
