“I don’t lose the way they want”: Khabib told haters

Russian UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov responded to haters criticizing him for constantly transferring fights to the stalls.

Nurmagomedov takes second place in the UFC rating regardless of the weight category. The Russian has 28 wins in all of his 28 career matches.

“Are they criticizing me for not losing the way they want? My best side is grappling, control from above. I am the dominant champion. In the history of mixed martial arts, there has never been such a thing that a fighter went so long without defeats. Fighting IQ is what makes me different from people who ask me questions about fighting style. Those who love me will watch my fights. Those who don’t like it will also watch and hope that I will lose,” Nurmagomedov said.

“That’s what you say: “A star, not a star.” It’s been a long time since I’ve heard people say that about me in my village. I don’t like talking to people like I’m a star, and other people aren’t. This is wrong, ” Nurmagomedov added.
