At today’s presentation of the flagships Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro and Pro+, as well as the Porsche Design Mate 40 RS, Huawei also presented the Huawei FreeBuds Studio headphones and the Huawei Sound smart speaker.
Huawei FreeBuds Studio
These are full-size wireless headphones with 40 mm drivers, a proprietary Kirin A1 chip, and a frequency range from 4 Hz to 48 kHz. Their weight is 260 grams.
The earbuds have 3-mode active noise canceling thanks to 8 multi-directional microphones. And the six-microphone system ensures clear and high-quality voice transmission during phone calls.
Bluetooth 5.2 support is also announced. FreeBuds Studio can connect to two devices at the same time.
A 410 mAh battery is installed inside, which provides up to 20 (with noise-canceling) or 24 hours (without it) of battery life. With 10 minutes of fast charging, you get another 8 hours.
Huawei FreeBuds Studio will be on sale in November with a price tag of € 299.
This is a more compact version of the Huawei Sound X, co-created with Devialet, a high-end audio manufacturer known primarily for its Phantom line of premium speakers.
It delivers 144 watts of sound with a 360-degree spatial spread of up to 90 dB. Inside is a 4-inch 40W subwoofer, three 5W full-range radiators and two passive radiators.
In addition, the speaker has 512 MB of RAM, 8 GB of flash memory, NFC, 3.5 mm jack, and transmits audio using Bluetooth 5.0.
