Huawei to release stable version of HarmonyOS in April

Huawei recently held an event in China, where it revealed new details about the proprietary HarmonyOS operating system.

The manufacturer will release its third test build of HarmonyOS later this month. She will be the last. If everything goes according to plan, then next month there will be a stable release of the system. The foldable smartphone Huawei Mate X2 should receive it first. The device was presented in February with Android 10 on board. After that, Huawei is going to start updating other models as well. By the way, rumor has it that the flagship Huawei P50 lineup will be released in China with HarmonyOS preinstalled.

Recall that Huawei launched HarmonyOS testing at the end of last year. The mobile assembly of the system supports Android applications and outwardly resembles the Google operating system with the EMUI shell. Basically, all OS changes so far concern the kernel and the internal part of the system.
