Huawei prepares to update smartphones from EMUI 11 to Android 11

Huawei at the HDC 2020 conference presented a new shell EMIU 11. The test version of the software has already been received by many of the company’s smartphones, but the firmware in all cases is based on Android 10. Now, information has appeared that the manufacturer is going to update it to Android 11.

According to the posted screenshot on the network, the first Android 11 will receive the flagship smartphones Mate 40 in Europe. They are due on October 22nd. Naturally, there is no need to wait for Google services in the update. The system will instead receive a pre-installed package of branded applications, including the App Gallery store.

Recall that EMUI 11 is currently being tested in many countries. The latest new skin was received by some users of Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro, Huawei P40 Pro+, and Huawei Mate 30 Pro in Europe.
