Huawei recently launched a Magic UI 4 beta program for select Honor smartphones. Now testers have already started receiving the first firmware.
As reported by Huawei Central, the update was released for Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor V20, and Honor Magic 2 in China. When a similar firmware test for devices on the global market will be launched, there is no information yet.
The system came out with build number 126.96.36.199. It contains the same innovations as the EMUI 11 shell. The firmware added an updated Always-on Display (AOD) model, a new interface and animation, synchronization of system sounds and vibrations, animated icons, Smart Multi-Window function, which allows you to minimize applications to windows and hide them in a special side menu, new branded applications and much more.
As a reminder, Huawei recently confirmed that it is selling its Honor division to Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co., Ltd. Fortunately, this will not affect customers or service in any way.
