We are talking about inexpensive devices. According to the source, Huawei is preparing several models at once and one of them should be supplied on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 platform. How Huawei will get access to the chip bypassing the sanctions is not clear. Perhaps the company will remove the 5G modem from the SoC, because the restrictions apply to Huawei’s supply of chips with support for the fifth generation network.
Recall that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 is an 8nm SoC that was announced earlier this year. The processor has eight cores. It supports Quick Charge 4 Plus fast charging, Full HD + 120Hz displays, and 64MP cameras.
There are no other details about the smartphone yet. We can only assume that it will enter the market with the HarmonyOS operating system.
