Huawei is preparing a smartphone Nova 8i with a Snapdragon processor

In the near future, Huawei is going to add a new model to its nova 8 series – the nova 8i.

The most interesting thing is that although the date of the official announcement is still unknown, the detailed characteristics and the image of the novelty have already been disclosed. So, the render shows only a part of the rear panel. It looks like the smartphone will be similar to the Mate 30 Pro with a round main camera block, which houses four sensors and an LED flash next to it.

In terms of specs, the Huawei nova 8i will feature a 6.67-inch FHD + IPS LCD display, a Snapdragon 662 processor, and a 4,300mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. This is enough to fully charge the battery in 38 minutes.

The main camera includes a 64-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.9, an 8 MP wide-angle (f/2.4), and two additional 2 MP sensors for macro photography and depth estimation.

The phone will ship with EMUI 11 based on Android 10 out of the box but should get HarmonyOS in the future.
