After several weeks of rumors and leaks, Huawei announced the Nova 8i smartphone to the global market.
The device received a glass body and appearance, which reminds a little of the flagship Huawei Mate 30 Pro. The novelty was equipped with a 6.67-inch IPS-screen with a 16 MP front camera opening and a regular refresh rate (60 Hz). A round protrusion with four camera sensors was placed on the back of the smartphone. 64MP main sensor with f / 1.9. It is complemented by an 8 MP wide-angle lens, a 2 MP depth sensor and the same macromodule.
Under the hood, Huawei Nova 8i has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. It is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM. The novelty is powered by a 4300 mAh battery, which supports fast charging at 66 watts. It is capable of charging a smartphone from 0 to 100% in just 38 minutes. Out of the box, the device is equipped with the Android 11 operating system with the EMUI 11 shell. There are no Google services in the device. Instead, Huawei branded apps and the AppGallery store are installed.
Huawei Nova 8i has already started selling in Malaysia. The issue price is $312.
