Huami introduced the Amazfit GTR 2 smartwatch to the market in October last year, and is now going to release a new version of it.
The manufacturer has published teasers on the Weibo social network, according to which the new product will be called Amazfit GTR 2 eSIM Edition. That is, the device will receive support for the built-in SIM-card. Thanks to this, the watch can be used without a smartphone. The announcement of the Amazfit GTR 2 eSIM Edition should take place this Friday.
As for the other characteristics of the novelty, they most likely will not change. The watch will receive a 1.39-inch round AMOLED screen, a 417 mAh battery with an autonomy of up to 38 days, a heart rate sensor, an accelerometer, a blood oxygen level measurement function, GPS, 5ATM water protection, 12 sports modes, as well as a built-in microphone and voice assistant Amazon Alexa. By the way, the regular version of Amazfit GTR 2 can now be bought on AliExpress for $177.
