How will tourists in different countries travel in August?

When planning trips in August and in the next three months, almost half of tourists in different countries book trips inland, according to Travel and Leisure.

In the UK, 69 percent of residents surveyed are going to go on tours within the kingdom, the publications notes, citing the authors of the American Express survey. In Mexico, 47 percent of respondents said they would visit regions of their country, in Japan, 45 percent, and in the United States, 40 percent.

Every tenth user has kept plans for international tourism. Moreover, they emphasized that the decision will be made at the last moment, and will most likely go to border countries.

This year, the majority of tourists – 63 percent – prefer to travel by car. Every tenth respondent dreams of a vacation on a cruise ship.
