The Broad Group’s high-rise building was assembled in China in just 28 hours and 45 minutes. Such prefabricated building systems can be used for the construction of residential high-rise buildings, hostels, hotels, hospitals.
The high-rise building was constructed using the Broad Group’s Living Building prefabricated building systems. One of its most attractive features is that each building module is folded the size of a shipping container. Modules are easy to move to almost anywhere in the world using existing shipping methods.
Each module is factory assembled and consists primarily of a stainless steel structure with wiring, insulation, glazing and ventilation. Simply put, the basic idea is to deliver parts of the building to the site and gradually assemble the structure. Then the house is connected to electrical and water communications.
To assemble the building in 24 hours, the Broad Group used a small army of construction workers and at least three cranes to speed up the process and get the job done on such an impressive time frame. However, company representatives emphasize that a building is also being erected quickly at a standard facility with the usual number of workers.
The prefabricated structures are strong, earthquake resistant, easy to disassemble and relocate if necessary.
