Honor is preparing to release the Honor X20 smartphone

Honor continues to expand its line of smartphones after splitting from Huawei. In June, the Chinese manufacturer launched the inexpensive Honor X20 SE on the market, and is now preparing another model from this line for release.

The information was shared by an insider on the social network Weibo. The main difference between the new items will be the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor (Dimensity 700 is installed in the X20 SE).

If you, suddenly, did not know, then the chipset was announced a couple of months ago. It is built on a 6-nanometer process technology. The SoC has two Cortex-A78 cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz, a Mali-G68 MC4 graphics accelerator, an integrated 5G modem and a third generation APU module that is responsible for the AI function.

By the way, the exact same chip is now installed in the Honor 50 SE smartphone. Most likely, the novelty will be similar to it.

The Honor X20 should be announced this month or next.

We will remind, Honor is now preparing for the presentation on August 12, which should show the tablet Honor V7 Pro and the flagship line of smartphones Honor Magic 3.
