Hollywood company will make a Movie about the first weeks of the COVID-19 outbreak

Hollywood company SK Global has begun work on a new film about the first weeks of the spread of coronavirus in China and the dedicated work of doctors, The Hollywood Reporter says.

Oscar-winner Charles Randolph will perform as a screenwriter. The movie will also be his directorial debut. According to Randolph, it will become a medical drama:

“The deeper we dig, the more we learn about what happened in Wuhan. It’s one thing to fight a monster. It’s completely different to fight a monster in the dark.”

The bulk of the filming should take place in China. Other details about the upcoming film have not yet been announced.
