HMD Global launched its first 5G smartphone Nokia 8.3 a year ago, and now appears to be working on its successor.
This was reported by the Nokia Power User. The device, according to the leak, will be powered by a new 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 775 processor. The chip should receive Kryo 6xx computing cores, an integrated 5G modem, and a Spectra 570 ISP sensor.
The successor to the Nokia 8.3 is also credited with a main camera with a 108 MP main sensor. It will be complemented by a wide-angle lens, telephoto lens, depth sensor and macromodule. The name of the new product is not yet known. Most likely it won’t be Nokia 8.4.
It is not worth waiting for the device in the near future. The release of the smartphone is scheduled for the second half of 2021.
