Jemima Kirk (Jess Johansson in Girls) will play Hope, a former student at Moordale School who becomes the new headmaster. Also in the series debuts as an actor rap singer/singer/singers Dua Saleh. A non-binary musician who demands to be written about using the pronoun “they” rather than “he” or “she” will play the non-binary schoolboy Cal, who will clash with Headmistress Hope.
Sex Education is about Otis (Ace Butterfield), a high school nerd. To improve his position in the school hierarchy, Otis provides paid consultations on sexual problems, taking knowledge from the books of his mother, the famous sexologist Jean (Gillian Anderson). Jean, after divorcing Otis’s father (James Purefoy) due to his obsession with sex, preaches an open relationship, thanks to which she is very popular with Moordale’s men.
