Hackers blackmail Trump with “tons of compromising material”

Hacker group REvil (another name – Sodinokibi) published the first part of compromising material on US President Donald Trump, for which they demand a ransom, Forbes magazine reported.

Last week, hackers attacked a New York law firm whose clients include many celebrities, including Lady Gaga and Madonna.

The attackers demanded $ 21 million for 756 gigabytes of compromising material on the singers. Without receiving money, they published the data in the “darknet.”

“The next person we will publish is Donald Trump. There is an election race, and we found a lot of “dirty linen” in time,” the hackers’ message led the magazine.

The unknown people took a week to fulfill their demands.

It later became known that the FBI was investigating the incident and classified it as terrorism. In response, the hackers posted the first part of the e-mails, which somehow mentioned Trump.

The magazine’s publication clarifies that the published letters did not contain anything that could compromise the US President.
