Guaido said preparing operation for the final seizure of power in Venezuela

The leader of the Venezuelan opposition Juan Guaido said that his supporters are preparing to conduct operation “Freedom”, which will lead to the seizure of power in Venezuela.

“Venezuelans, we are preparing for the final end of the usurpation of power, for operation “Freedom”. Wait for us in every state,” said Guaido at a press conference in Caracas.

His words in his Twitter leads Venezuelan journalist Gabriel Bastidas. The opposition leader said that the administration of the Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro “only a few days left.”

Guido also said that the Republic’s authorities are afraid to arrest him and therefore the attack on his supporters. “Since they [the authorities] cannot arrest the interim President [Juan Guaido], they seek his loved ones, threaten them and kidnap them. Nicolas Maduro or does not dare to put me in jail, or does not send me law enforcement authorities”, — said Guaido.

According to the opposition, the arrest of his Secretary Robert Marrero is “an insult not only to Juan Guaido, the National Assembly [unicameral Parliament], Venezuelans and the Constitution, but also to the entire democratic world.”

Earlier, Guaido argued that Marrero and Venezuelan opposition Deputy Sergio Vergara was detained by agents of the Bolivarian intelligence service, and their houses were raided. Then Vergara said that the searches took place, but he was not detained. At the same time Vergara also claimed that Marrero was detained.
