Google releases new Gboard keyboard for smart TVs on Android TV

Google has rolled out a new version of the Gboard keyboard for smart TVs with Android TV.

The main change in the app is a completely redesigned design. Previously, the keyboard took up half of the screen, but now it is located in the center. Its minimalistic appearance is very similar to the mobile version. Another innovation is a separate button for voice input. Up to this point, such a function was also present, but it was added by the application developers themselves.

The new version of Gboard has already begun to be distributed on the server to smart TVs all over the world.

We will remind, last week, Google introduced Android 11 for smart TVs on Android TV
