It looks like the third and fourth generation Google Pixel smartphones have battery problems.
Since May, complaints from some Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 4 XL owners have started to surface on the Reddit and Google forums. They complain about batteries starting to swell.
Some users do not immediately notice this problem, since they use the gadget in a case, but over time, wireless charging stops working for them. In addition, a swollen battery is dangerous as it can cause a fire and reduces the water-resistance of your phone.
The pictures show that the battery swells so much that the rear panel of the device begins to recede.
The reason is unknown, but Google changes such as “pixels” even if they are not covered by the warranty. Google is ready to send you a refurbished model, but only one replacement is required.
