Google is preparing a new design for the Discover newsfeed for Android 12

Google has begun testing a for its Discover news feed.

The updated version has appeared on users of Pixel smartphones, which have the Android 12 development build of the operating system installed.

The main change to the ribbon is the lack of cards. Now only a thin line separates all the content. In addition, Google removed the teasers and left only the news titles, publication time, source and buttons “Like”, “Share” and “Settings”. Even in the new version, you can notice a different location of the company logo and the absence of a search bar, as well as an assistant call button.

By the way, now the Google Discover feed on Android will look more like the iOS version of the app.
