Google has officially announced an update to its flagship Pixel smartphone. The fifth-generation should be presented on September 30.
The new smartphone, which will replace the Google Pixel 4, was announced back in August 2020, when the low-cost Pixel 4a was introduced. At that time, almost nothing was said about the flagship, only hinting at support for working in fifth-generation mobile networks.
Together with the smartphone, the presentation is going to launch the next generation of the Chromecast media player and a completely new Nest smart speaker.
The prices of new products will be announced only in the presentation. It is known that the first countries to start selling the Pixel 5 will be the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia.
