Ghost of Tsushima not only showed unexpectedly large sales for Sony during its launch, but also became a “people’s favorite” along with “Spider-Man”.
After calculating trophy statistics, Ungeek found that 50.2% of Ghost of Tsushima players received a Mono No Aware achievement, marking the end of the story campaign. This is a good result for linear story games, and just great for open world projects.
For example, only 29.8% of players saw the final credits of Witcher 3, and only 19.8% of users passed the recent Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The project with the highest completion rate remains Marvel’s Spider-Man – 50.8%.
It is worth noting that the statistics are taken only taking into account PlayStation users, nevertheless, they show the real interest of players in projects on the platform.
- Marvel’s Spider-Man – 50.8%
- Ghost of Tsushima – 50.2%
- Assassin’s Creed Origins – 38.2%
- Far Cry 5 – 36.7%
- Days Gone – 34.7%
- Horizon Zero Dawn – 34.1%
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – 30%
- The Witcher 3 – 29.8%
- Death Stranding – 28.6%
- Red Dead Redemption II – 28.2%
- Watch Dogs 2 – 24.9%
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – 19.8%
It is worth noting that the same Marvel’s Spider-Man is not the most interesting game on the PlayStation in principle. The same The Last of Us Part II has a 58% pass rate, and Final Fantasy VII Remake was 53.3% of gamers.
