German doctors turned off Navalny from the ventilator

Alexey Navalny’s condition continues to improve. He was completely disconnected from the ventilator, the press service of the Berlin Charite clinic reported.

The hospital also noted that the patient is becoming more mobile and is already getting out of bed.

On August 20, the founder of the anti-corruption Foundation was hospitalized in Omsk, where doctors diagnosed a metabolic disorder that caused a sharp drop in blood sugar levels. What caused it is still unclear, but no poisons were found in Navalny’s blood and urine.

Later, he was transported to Germany; whose officials said a few days after that, the Russian was poisoned with a substance from the Novichok group of combat substances. Moscow sent a request asking for more detailed information on the results of tests from the Berlin laboratory, but there was no response.

Today, the German government announced that it had requested the support of the Organization for the prohibition of chemical weapons (OPCW) in the Navalny case, and laboratories in Sweden and France confirmed the data of their German colleagues.
