American car manufacturer General Motors has announced an electric Hummer to compete with the Tesla Cybertruck.
The novelty has received a brutal appearance, which traces elements of previous models, a pickup body, and four different versions: Hummer EV2, Hummer EV2X, Hummer EV3X, and Hummer EV Edition 1. They will differ in range, trim levels, and different power plants.
The top model will boast three electric motors with a total power of about 1000 hp. and a torque of 15 592 Nm. This version will accelerate to “hundreds” in just 3 seconds. The declared cruising range is up to 600 km. It can be replenished with a 350-kilowatt charge. Naturally, the lower modifications have all these indicators less.
The Hummer EV Edition 1 also received adaptive air suspension (increases ground clearance by 149 mm), adaptive dampers, Super Cruise autopilot, premium materials interior, 12.3-inch digital dashboard, and a 13.4-inch multimedia touchscreen. In addition, this version will differ in the Crab mode. Thanks to him, the pickup will be able to turn both the rear and front wheels at the same time.
The production of the car is planned to begin at the Detroit-Hamtramck plant in the USA.
