A new hero will appear in the Marvel comics – the homosexual Captain America, Screen Rant portal reports.

The teenage character will be named Aaron Fisher. He can be seen in the “United States of Captain America” ​​lineup, which Christopher Kentwell will author.

According to the new comic plot, Captain America will have his shield stolen, after which he will travel across the country to find the culprit. On the way, the hero will meet a group calling himself “Captains” – its members, including Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes and John Walker, at various times tried on the image of a cult superhero.

According to comic book co-author Josh Trujillo, Fisher’s character was inspired by activists and ordinary people fighting for their lives. According to Trujillo, the teenager will speak for the oppressed and forgotten.

Last year, it became known that Aquaman, played by actor Jason Momoa in a series of films of the same name, was planned to be replaced with a gay character. Warner Bros. plans to introduce new characters to DC comics blockbusters, in connection with which it is expected that after the release of the third film in the franchise, Arthur Curry will cease to be the king of the seas. The gay Atlant Aqualad will replace him.
