Garrett Hedlund was arrested twice for drunk driving in January and February of this year, according to People magazine. He was released on bail, and at the end of February, a trial was held, during which one charge was dropped from Garrett. After that, the actor voluntarily agreed to 30-day inpatient treatment for alcoholism and a 9-month counseling program on alcohol and drug addiction. Hedlund then volunteered to undergo another course of treatment. “Now he’s okay, he got out of it,” says a source from the actor’s entourage.
In August it became known that Garrett and his beloved Emma Roberts are preparing to become parents, for both this will be their first child. They started talking about Emma’s pregnancy back in June when her growing belly was captured by the paparazzi. Roberts herself spoke about her situation only at the end of August, announcing that she was expecting a boy.
And recently, Roberts and Hedlund became news heroes after helping a motorcycle rider who got into an accident. They were driving through Los Angeles and a guy on a motorcycle was hit by a car in front of them. Eyewitnesses said that after the collision, Emma and Garrett immediately stopped, got out of the car, and rushed to help the injured biker.
