Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + also started receiving One UI 2.5 update

Samsung, following the Galaxy Note 9, has also started updating its Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + smartphones to One UI 2.5.

The system came out with build number G96xFXXUCFTJ2. The list of changes is the same as in the Galaxy Note 9. That is, smartphones received the Wireless DeX function, which allows you to broadcast a picture to a TV with Miracast support, as well as updated Samsung Keyboard and Messages applications. The developers also updated the camera, adding the ability to select the video recording duration in Single Take mode and the frame rate (24, 30, or 60 fps) in Pro Video Mode.

As usual, the firmware is distributed in waves. Therefore, you have to wait for a little while it gets to your device. By the way, this is the last major update for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Smartphones will definitely not receive Android 11 with One UI 3.0.
