Galaxy A72 will be the first Samsung smartphone with a pentacamera

Samsung continues to evolve its Galaxy A lineup, with smartphones getting new features even before flagships. The new representatives of the series will be the Galaxy A72 and Galaxy A52.

What to wait
According to insiders, the Galaxy A72 will be the first Samsung smartphone with a penta camera, meaning its main camera will consist of five modules. It is rumored to be a 64MP sensor, 12MP wide-angle camera, 8MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, 5MP macro, and 5MP depth sensor. In this case, the front camera is one, 32 megapixels.

In addition, according to early rumors, the Galaxy A72 will be the first Galaxy A smartphone to feature optical image stabilization (OIS). But the Samsung Galaxy A52 will have “only” four cameras.

Recall that at one time, the Galaxy A9 (2018) became the first Samsung smartphone with a quad-camera, and the Galaxy A80 is still the only gadget of the company with a rotary camera. Of course, other manufacturers have penta camera- for example, the same Nokia 9 PureView.
