Gaethje beat Poirier in the UFC rankings and moved closer to Khabib

American mixed martial arts fighter Justin Gaethje has won one place in the consolidated ranking of UFC fighters, regardless of the weight category. Gaethje moved up to the seventh place, surpassing compatriot Dustin Poirier, who dropped to eighth place.

There have been no changes in the top three: former UFC light heavyweight champion John Jones leads the rating, lightweight belt holder Khabib Nurmagomedov is in second place, and the best middleweight Israel Adesanya closes the top three.

Gaethje’s next opponent will be Nurmagomedov, the fight will take place on October 24 in Abu Dhabi.
