The third fight between the current world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury from Britain and the former American belt holder Deontay Wilder will not take place. This was reported by Fury himself.
Recall that in the first fight, held in December 2018, the judges recorded a draw, and in the second fight in February 2020, Fury knocked out Wilder and took away the WBC championship belt.
“I was asked to postpone the fight until December – I agreed to hold the fight on December 19. Then they again tried to postpone the fight, already the next year. I practiced. I was ready.
But when they asked to postpone the fight from December 19 to next year, it was too much. I’m moving on, ” The Athletic quotes Fury.
